Spring Junior Academy

Each age group will meet once per week for 6 weeks beginning May 15th.

Program Outline

Finding the right class for your child is easy at Hollow Brook. We offer carefully tailored junior golf lessons for different age groups, ensuring your young players master age-appropriate skills.

Age 7 – 11 Young Players (Fridays 5:30pm – 6:15pm)

Building a solid foundation of skills
- Teaching the fundamentals of a golf swing
- Grip, posture, swinging a club, what each club does
Physical skills
- Balance, speed, flexibility
Rules of golf and golf etiquette
Playing games with rewards

Age 12 – 17 Intermediate (Saturdays 5:30pm – 6:15pm)

Summer Camps

If your child wants an immersive golf experience, our Summer Junior Golf Camp is a must. These week-long programs allow junior golfers to focus intensely on their game while making new friends and enjoying being outside. Each day includes skill-building drills and exercises, focused golf lessons, and friendly competitions. Every camper leaves with improved abilities, renewed confidence, and a deeper love for the game.

PGA Jr. League at Hollow Brook Golf Club

PGA Jr. League is shifting the perception of youth golf and the way the game is learned and played. The program brings family and friends together around fun, team golf experiences with expert coaching and instruction from PGA and LPGA Professionals. It’s a game changer, and we’re so excited to offer PGA Jr. League at Hollow Brook Golf Club!

For kids who thrive on teamwork, the PGA Jr. League is an exciting opportunity. Available at Hollow Brook, this national program lets young golfers compete in tournaments alongside teammates while proudly representing our club. Every match is played in a fun, team-based format, making it a great introduction to competitive golf. Plus, it’s an excellent way to hone skills while building friendships.

Hollow Brook’s PGA Jr. League program is open to boys and girls ages 13 and under of all skill levels. No golf experience is required! Kids will learn the game and enjoy relaxed competition in a two-person scramble format that encourages mentorship, builds confidence and teaches sportsmanship.

Each PGA Jr. League golfer will receive:

Two high-quality team jerseys; one orange and one blue (for home and away games). Jerseys are available in boys and girls sizes and customizable with our team name and player’s chosen jersey number!

6 team practices and free range balls
6 regular season matches
Opportunity to advance to All-Star teams during post-season.

The season will start May 13th and run through the end of June. Most matches will be weekend afternoons starting at 3pm, and practices will take place on Wednesday evenings at 6:00pm – 7:00pm. Assistant Golf Professional Shane Kammerman will be the team coach and attend all practices and matches.
