The 6,900 yard layout, set in a valley and bordered on one side by a mountain ridge, offers one striking view after another. The course's design incorporates dramatic elevation changes, gently undulating fairways, mature native trees, lakes and a crystal clear trout stream that runs through the property.

Three stately bridges cross the waterway on this course, and the Hollow Brook stream, for which this facility is named, splits two par three holes. While golf carts are allowed, the course is walker-friendly and walking this course gives the feeling of a hiking trip through the hills and woods.
